"I was Street Team before the Street Team existed."
Featured Elite: Ben "Stunnaben" Howard
South Carolinian Ben “Stunnaben” Howard’s passion for all things Honda is no secret. His loyalty toward the brand began before him even owning a single Honda product. As early as 1998, Howard’s enthusiasm—as well as the “Stunnaben” nickname—took shape thanks to internet forums like the original Hybrid Page and purehonda.com. The nickname started as a joke because of his affinity toward chrome and polished wheels and has since been solidified. Howard’s since gone on to not only build his version of the ultimate street car but has also launched a career for himself as an automotive photojournalist, regularly contributing to titles such as Honda Tuning magazine, and playing a pivotal role in the growth of the annual Southern California all-Honda Eibach meet.

Howard’s no stranger to putting together a well-rounded Honda, and his latest Civic Si is no exception. Plans called for it to be better than any he’d previously attempted and to be driven cross-country in what Howard refers to as his “Stunnaben Tour.” To do this, he partnered with Skunk2 to outfit his K-series and suspension with top-of-the-line components. In early 2011 and with his project completed, Howard set off for his California destination, which consisted of a stop at the Skunk2 facility. As usual, the cameras were running.
