Our Alpha Series throttle body, as seen in the video, has an OEM style finish to it. Our Pro Series is a full billet piece, which will have a noticeably different look. Cost on the Alpha is much less that the Pro-Series, which is something that could also be taken into account.

Do I have to calibrate tps sensor? And is it hard to do ? Also when I install my pro 2 intake with alpha TB will it make my daily driver hard to start? Or unreliable as they say...I have a jdm d 15b vtec in 95 delsol with dna header cheap intake full catback and dc sport muffler...any help would be greatly appreciated guyz...

Yes you will need to calibrate the TPS. It is not difficult. It should not make your car more difficult to start and it will not effect reliability. If you have any other questions or need more info or help give us a call!

Whats the Outside Diameter of the 70mm Throttle Body so I can order the Silicone reducer for my intercooler piping. Cheers Mike

MickyEllis, the outside diameter is just under 3 inches. We took a quick measurement and in came in around 2 and 7/8 inches.

son bought a 70mm alpha throttle body for his 96 integra he has a ls automatic not working any help would be a great help, he has two throttle cables one goes to transmission, throttle arm from oem application does not transfer

Chris - is your map sensor different in the fact that it mounts on the firewall instead? Typically with something like that there are two options - we can sell you the barbed fitting to tap the TB map hole with and you would just run a vacuum hose to the fitting and to your firewall map. OR - you would just upgrade to the newer maps and cut/splice/extend your map wires to accommodate the added length to the TB.

Joe - The TBs are advertised and designed for the Manual Transmission only. Our TB will not work with the automatics given that extra cable for the transmission itself.

Joe - Machining the TB would void any warranty offered and I couldn't definitively give you a 'YES' answer if doing so would make everything work as it should.

I have just recently installed a AEM V2 in my prelude and was just wondering if I get the Skunk 2 throttle body will fit with the AEM V2 CAI.

I install a skunk2 a alpha throtle body and. Went I start the engine the idle it went to hight so what I need to do.

Francis - The OD of the bore on the TB is going to be larger than the AEM as it would have been designed around the factory piece. You may be able to stretch the coupler onto it although you may simply need to buy a new coupler to accommodate.

Tong Lo - Yes, the alpha throttle bodies are not engine specific.
