The overwhelming positive feedback generated by last year’s unmeet 1.0 meant only one thing—unmeet 2.0 had to happen. Last Saturday, April 16, marked Skunk2’s second unmeet. Like unmeet 1.0, the vibe was relaxed, the schedule was loose, the food was superb, and the cars were secondary to all else. Tasty grilled sustenance was generously sponsored by Evergood Foods thanks to Michael Martinez of PlanB Motorsports. If you’ve never tried Evergood sausages, well, you’re missing out. Like last year, the day included entertaining competitions, including a hotdog bun eating contest, push-up contest, and a chin-up contest, all ending with the winners walking away with Skunk2 goods like Radiator Hose Kits, Oil Caps, T-shirts, and other accessories. No trophies, no dance battles, no cotton-stuffed wheel wells or cleaning products—just a good time at the park with everyone’s friends and family.
