Was the comparison rigged?
HHQ: K-Series Tensioner Test Video
Dec 9th, 2010 // Article By: Skunk2 Staff // Photographer: Skunk2 Staff
In an effort to stay on top of our game, several weeks ago we reached out to the community, asking for everyone’s Skunk2-related, "hard-hitting" questions. The questions would be directed at Skunk2’s owner and founder, Dave Hsu. Everyone's opinions, questions, and concerns were addressed, and we’ll knock through the list one by one. Some claimed that we wouldn't keep our promise; others said we'd sugar coat the process entirely by cherry-picking the easy questions.
Shortly after releasing our K-Series Timing Chain Tensioner we produced a comparison video that demonstrated how well the Pro Series Tensioner works when compared to OEM and aftermarket tensioners. Following the video’s release we received accusations of the test’s authenticity. Some said the test was “rigged.” Some said that the comparison itself was an “unprofessional” thing to do. Check out Part Two as Dave addresses the accusations and shares why he produced the video.

Skunk2 is proven quality. i have proved on numerous forums. i have put the "kabash" (sp?) On nuermous "my friend" accusations. if people have issues with skunk2 products its because of improper install or its a skunk2 piece combined with garbage...garbage fails and they blame skunk2.
Great video. I drove a car you guys built cross country. no issues...at all. 12 hours of driving everyday. 40-120mph varying speeds. motor is still great across compression test etc
