HHQ: Evo Intake Manifold Fitment Issue

Part One: Dave addresses Evo owners' concerns.

In an effort to stay on top of our game, several weeks ago we reached out to the community, asking for everyone’s Skunk2-related, "hard-hitting" questions. The questions would be directed at Skunk2’s owner and founder, Dave Hsu. Everyone's opinions, questions, and concerns were addressed, and we’ll knock through the list one by one. Some claimed that we wouldn't keep our promise; others said we'd sugar coat the process entirely by cherry-picking the easy questions.

Dave is way more diplomatic than I am. I do appreciate a company that is continually "moving forward", never waiting for things to get better, Skunk2 makes better things always. Constant innovation and updates is what I expect and Skunk2 has always done exactly that.

I've been a fan of Skunk 2 since back in the day of Skunkworks and Tony Shagday's all-motor integra. Skunk 2 is one of the few import tuner companies out there that really know what they are doing and i have full competence in their product. Unfortunately for me, they don't make any products for cars I own (ae86 and E55 AMG), but I would definitely use their products if they did. Keep up the good work guys and you're hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.

Wow. I didn't even buy the piece, but he acknowledged the error and didn't try to make excuses. That I respect in a dude. Go Skunk2.

helo i from malaysia, sory my english not very well. i use evo 1-3, can skunk2 racing make performance part for evo 1-3 4G63T model..??? and make promotion at malaysia..

This is a great example of good engineering. Problems are always going to arise. You just need to find out how to make it better for your customers.

I design engine manifolds, and 1/16" is typically accepted as the tolerance for cast surfaces for sand cast parts. Sand castings are hard to control, and aluminum is especially tricky to cast.... just gotta find a way around it. Great company, great products.
