i just purchased the skunk2 coilovers pro-s 2 and i thought they would come assembled...how do i assemble the back coils?

I'm installing skunk2 coilovers pro-s 2. I got the fronts on now problem but now i'm working on the rear. When I put the new shock in and lower the car to the ground to tighten the top bolt it still has a lot of play between the rubber bushing and the frame of my car. There is a large gap that I can bounce my car on. Is the sleeve too long? I've played with the height of the shock to see if that would decrease the gap but no luck. Seems like the distance between the damper and the bolt is too long. Any suggestions?
