No Fake Sh*t?
Not long after we posted up the article about the Skunk2 clone intake manifolds I received this box of stickers from a guy named "Mr. Thumb" from a company called "nofakesh*t.org." I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had a chance to post this up and help support their cause until now. We handed out what we had at the last Eibach meet but apparently somebody over there found out about our upcoming unmeet and sent us another box for us to distribute again. They've actually sent us a pretty good amount of stickers so if you're able to attend the Skunk2 unmeet this September, be sure and ask me for some of these. It looks like their mission is to help identify the knock-off companies like the ones who copied the Skunk2 intake manifold and help consumers realize that this sort of thing hurts our industry. We've been saying this for years...and now nofakesh*t.org has taken it to another level, which we hope to support.

It looks like somebody from nofakesh*t.org has seen the roster of people who'll be attending our unmeet and wants to make sure we get you guys plenty of stickers. Be sure to make it out and ask us for some of these. You can also contact them at info@nofakeshit.org if you want to try to get some beforehand (not sure if they give them away to everyone but it's worth a try). I'm not sure who Mr. Thumb is (I have my suspicions) but we support his cause regardless.

Capitalism is good. Stealing other people's designs and ideas is bad. There's quite a difference.

The Skunk2 Manifold design is based/copied from the Honda Integra Type R Manifold, so anything not made by Honda is Fake Sh!t... Right? What it really comes down to is safety and performance, purchasing Really Fake shit (Skunk2 Clones) could leave you with a broken engine, broken suspension or broken neck. At least Skunk2 uses consistent manufacturing to assure a higher level of imported Chinese/Taiwanese reliability.
