Thailand-based Team Pomgambino once again secured Second Place at last December’s Honda Racing Fest, 2009 in its Skunk2-prepped EG6 Honda Civic. The Second Place Street Circuit class finish at Chiangmai, Thailand’s 700th Anniversary Stadium, ensured Pomgambino’s First Runner Up finish in the division’s Pro Cup Class C. But Pomgambino’s number two finish didn’t come easy this time. The team’s driver manipulated the tight, bumpy course with one hand on the shifter due to a faulty Second Gear that continually popped out of place. The team also moved up 10 spots in only 15 laps, starting in position 12.
