K-Series Tensioner: Sneak Peak
Most K-series owners are aware of the potential for a failed timing chain tensioner, the results of which can deal a serious blow to any engine. To help K-series owners sleep better at night and no longer be afraid to run aggressive camshafts, Skunk2 is about to release its upgraded timing chain tensioner. The design improves upon the factory tensioner’s shortcomings—its internal spring and piston, which together help eliminate chain slack. More information on how you can eliminate your K-series engine’s weak link to come.

When will this part be released?? I plan to run Stage 3 i-VTEC cams on a K20Z4 and am wary of chain slack due to the aggressive cam setup..
