Iv owned two hondas in the past and heavily moded both of them, including a CR-V . Im thinking about buying a Fit and moding that. I have to say that video just made me want a Fit so much. Thanks for the great videos and great parts.

Sorry, I call BS. Without knowing the other driver and their capabilities it could have just as easily been he got scared. 150 hp down and he blows past, I don't think so.

The E39 M5 makes about 400hp (at the flywheel) and weighs about 4000lbs. The Skunk2/Kraftwerks Fit makes 200hp (at the wheels) and weighs about 2200lbs. So from a power to weight comparison they are pretty close. Being light is a tremendous advantage when cornering and braking for the Fit. Maybe the driver of the M5 'got scared', but the fact remains the Fit still chased him down and passed him without ever looking back. Both of the cars looked like they were moving pretty good through the 'balcony'.

I actually own both of these vehicle. I'm a factory trained bmw tech and purchased a 1st gen fit to commute to work and dedicate my M5 to the garage during winter. While the M5 has both more hp and a butt-load more torque, the fit just has the weight advantage. I can see where the fit would gain advantage on late braking and cornering, but I might be a little sceptical on overtaking down a straight. Was this a stock M5? And like most people think, what are the two skill levels? While the M5 driver does look decent, how much of that is the car its self? Either way how you want to argue, that Fit is just a little go kart. Id like to super-charge mine now seeing that it can be just as much fun as the M.

I was plannin on puttin a K20 in a fitt but this look moe doable to my pocked right , tryin to get a JDM fit from Japan to start my build
